sb2 Expands Executive Team, Announces New Partner

sb2 names Trisha Cowart the firm’s newest partner

Harrisburg, Pa. (October 22, 2013)sb2, a national law firm specializing in the representation of long-term care providers, is pleased to announce the promotion of attorney Trisha E. Cowart to partner. Cowart’s practice is primarily focused on Medicaid eligibility and regulatory issues for long-term care providers.

Prior to joining sb2, Cowart was a clinical professor at the Elder Law and Consumer Protection Clinic at Penn State University’s Dickinson School of Law, serving as the acting co-director of the clinic from 2009 through 2011. Currently, Cowart plays an active role in the firm’s marketing, attends administrative and state court hearings, supervises and trains new associates and handles cases from start to finish.

In her new role as partner, Cowart will oversee the firm’s marketing and client relations, including negotiating rates and scope of representation. She earned her BA from the Pennsylvania State University and her JD from Penn State University’s Dickinson School of Law, where she received the William H. Dodd Award. Cowart is a member of both the Pennsylvania and New York Bar Associations and is admitted to practice law in both states.
